Location & Directions
We’re three miles north of Bryson City — 10 minutes from Cherokee, 45 minutes from Franklin or Maggie Valley, 50 minutes from Asheville, one hour from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Dollywood.
From US-74 (Smoky Mountain Expressway) exit 67. Watch for “Lands Creek Log Cabins” on the state lodging sign at the Bryson City exit 67.
From the exit, we are 4 miles (mark your odometer) straight ahead. Make no turns. Go to the left of our entrance sign, down to our creekside check-in office and Lands Creek Store. Look for the bear out front.
To Bryson City
From the Southeast: Follow I-26 west to I-40 west. Take exit 27 (Smoky Mountain Expressway) onto highway 74 west to Bryson City exit 67. From Atlanta – East Side: Take I-85 north to I-985 north, which will become US 441 north and take you into Franklin, NC. Take the 441 north bypass around Franklin to Highway 74 west (at Dillsboro), then west to Bryson City exit 67. Watch for our signs! From Atlanta – West Side: Take I-75 north to I-575 north, which becomes Georgia route 5. At Blue Ridge, GA, turn left (west) on to Route 60 and travel 1.5 miles to Mineral Bluff, GA. Turn right on to Route “60 Spur” and travel approximately 12 miles to the junction with US 19/74. Turn right (east) and proceed on US 19/74 through Murphy, NC, Andrews, and the Nantahala Gorge to Bryson City exit 67. From the Midwest: Take I-40 east through Knoxville, TN to exit 20 in North Carolina. Exit right onto highway 276 and follow toward Waynesville. Turn onto highway 74 west, take exit 67 and follow our signs!
