No matter what the season, there is nothing as beautiful as a mountain sunset. All of our ridge top cabins offer wonderful views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Be adventurous and take a hike from the ridgetop trail down through the woods to the creekside trail below.
The top of the ridge is home to our largest cabins with plenty of room to stretch out both indoors and out. Choose from each cabin’s unique bedding arrangements that offer variety for your sleeping needs. Get outdoors in a rocker on the porch or relax under the stars around the campfire or in a hot tub.
We knew we were somewhere special the first time we arrived and heard the peaceful waters of Lands Creek. Its headwaters begin far back in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Countless small creeks, branches and springs contribute along the way as it flows beyond us to meet the Tuckaseegee River just below. It is the heart of this land.
We now have seven creekside cabins to choose from, with a variety of sleeping options in each. Swing the doors and windows open to the covered creekside porch where there’s always a few rockers around. There’s a charcoal grill, picnic table and campfire area for hangin’ out. Any time is a good time to be down by the creek and always a great spot for the kids.
We have come to call this area “Firefly Holler”, and anytime during a summer evening you’ll know why. The evening skies are alive with stars and fireflies. These four cabins are all nestled in their own setting in the woods. Kids seem to really like having their own space in the “bunk-style” loft.
Just a short walk from the creek the cozy bedroom makes a great fit for a couple and there’s room for more in the bunk-style loft. Swing open the bedroom door to the fresh air of the covered screened porch.
